About

I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, in May 2020 with a Bachelor's in Film Studies and Spanish Language & Culture. The majority of my studies focused on the relationship between media and society; specifically how forms of media are adapting and changing with new technology and developing cultures.

I am currently a graduate student at the University of Maryland, Global Campus, set to receive my Master's in Strategic Communications in March 2025. This program focuses on all aspects of strategic communications and has greatly improved my professional skills.

I have a marketing and social media-based background, but also have creative interests in different mediums. Career-wise, I currently am working in the marketing and communications field. My goal is to grow as a communicator and marketer, eventually becoming a leader in the field.

I stay current in strategic communications by attending conferences in the Baltimore/DC area, where I engage with industry experts and explore emerging trends. As a member of the University of Maryland Alumni Association, I actively participate in relevant career events to expand my professional network and stay informed on best practices. These experiences allow me to continuously refine my skills, exchange insights with peers, and contribute to the growth of the field through ongoing learning and collaboration.
